Finally getting around to sharing some designs I d Finally getting around to sharing some designs I did sample… and never posted 🖤

Back in December, for my birthday, my wonderful fiancé surprised me with two baby tarantulas 🥹 I’ve wanted tarantulas since I was a kid, so it felt extra special — and definitely sparked some creative inspiration.

I’ve been itching to make more spider-themed pieces, and a friend suggested a snowflake-style tarantula mandala ornament, this was my take on it.

2 layers, hand drawn by me with our babies as references. ❤

I’ve been a bit out of commission since November, I’ve been a bit out of commission since November, dealing with 3 back-to-back viral illnesses that kept me mostly in bed. Unfortunately, that also kicked up more migraines and vertigo thanks to my lovely blockages — definitely not a fun season. I’m finally starting to ease back into things, though we’ll see how long the relief lasts. On top of that, my pup began having seizures (she just turned 10), and Popcorn, my axolotl, has also been sick — so it’s been a rough few months between doctors and vets.

I won’t be around much from the 30th–6th. I’ll be out near the Boston area with my fiancé, Travis, as I finally have an appointment with the migraine specialist I’ve been waiting over a year to see. I don’t fully know what this week will involve testing-wise, but we’ll be staying out there and trying to make the best of it (leave it to him to turn doctor visits into a mini vacation, haha). He's the best! I’m really hopeful this will bring some answers and help me figure out how to better manage everything and get my footing back.

On the business side of things —

I have dozens of designs fully drawn and ready to be sampled; I just haven’t felt well enough to spend long stretches in the shop. Lately I’ve been working from bed — drawing, planning, and trying to keep things moving where I can. I’m hoping to share more WIPs and behind-the-scenes peeks in the meantime, and slowly get some digitals listed as I’m able. I originally planned to bulk process everything (draw 15 designs, sample them all at once), but… yeah. That plan didn’t quite survive reality. 😅

Freelance work and websites are still moving along, especially anything digital, and I’m going to start scheduling and sharing some projects that have been sitting in limbo since November. Now that the holidays are over, I can finally show them!

Thank you so much for the patience, kindness, and support — it truly means more than I can put into words. 🖤 As always, prayers are also appreciated too as I navigate these challenges. I love the winter, but woah- it's destroyed my immune system!

Do you ever have a project that comes to mind, and it executes perfectly? I really love the concept of the wooden valentines truffle box, with your own sayings on the back. I had so much fun drawing that one (and the dinosaur pop outs too).

I'm slowly scheduling posts. Dealing with 2 sick pets on top of being sick back and forth for weeks- it's been a month. Between scheduling vet appointments, meds, treatments- i'm exhausted.

A little snapshot from the weekend over at @lilach A little snapshot from the weekend over at @lilachedgefarm. Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by my booth, supported my work, shared kind words, or simply took the time to say hello. 🤍 It was also great meeting other vendors and networking with some new small businesses. I'm so happy that my sublimation earrings were a hit again- it's so cool to see how people appreciate my illustration work in color.

As I look ahead, I want to share an important update. In 2026, I’ll be stepping back from in-person shows to focus on my health as I try to get things better under control. We also have a wedding to plan. 😅 Because of this, I’ll be moving away from building and stocking large inventories. Instead, I’ll be offering smaller batch releases and shifting gears. More info to come on that towards the end of the year as I prep and schedule for 2026.

This wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s a necessary one — and I’m excited to continue creating and sharing my work with you in a more sustainable way. Thank you for your understanding, kindness, and continued support as I move into this next chapter.

I have two remaining shows for the year- and the l I have two remaining shows for the year- and the last 2 weekends will be over at @lilachedgefarm ❤ I'll have a variety of my illustrated products- from tumblers, ornaments and jewelry. If you are around the area, stop on by!

Mom will be helping me vend and some of my small business buds will also be here like @fringe_and_stone (who makes the most AMAZING body stuff!) so I hope to see you around.

EDIT: I will not be there the weekend of the 20th. Some other obligations came up.

Apparently, the related reel wouldn't post to IG s Apparently, the related reel wouldn't post to IG so here are some shots of the new chalkboard styled ornaments I have been prototyping. Iv'e been wanting to do just black and white layers, and I think I am finally on the right path for that!

These can be customized of course. 3 layers of painted MDF. It's hard to tell in just the flat photo, but the coating and shine to these really make them pop! I'll have to see if I can figure out how to get the reel to post here.
